Adventures in Mountain Home Building

The idea of this blog is to chronicle the experience of building a home in the NC mountains from choosing a piece of property through construction of the home. The name meadow2manor comes from the fact that right now all we have is a meadow and woods but eventually there will be a mountain house as well (the “manor”). The picture above is the property as it is right now.  We like to think of it as our own personal “Field of Dreams.” We hope you find it interesting, informative, and of course entertaining!
